BAdI: Determination of HU Weight Using Scale
![BAdI: Determination of HU Weight Using Scale Use This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) component. The weight of a handling unit (HU) must be determined using a scale. You can also use this BAdI to define if the determined weight is the net weight, the tare weight, or the total weight of the HU. This BAdI is called when you choose the Weigh button in the packing work center. Standard settings In the standard system, scales are contacted using an RFC destination. For more information, see Scale Name. The scales weight is copied to the HU as a gross weight. The BAdI is designed for multiple use. The BAdI is filter-dependent. Activities For information about implementing BAdIs as part of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework. Example You can find example implementations in the BAdI Builder on the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the Implementation Example Classes section. The following example implementation is available: /SCWM/ES_SCALE_PCO You can use this enhancement implementation to connect the OPC server of a scale to a PCO system that is connected to EWM. You can copy it to your system and make any changes to the displays necessary, for example, you can change the decimal display from points to commas. See Also The BAdI uses the interface /SCWM/IF_EX_WRKC_UI_GET_WEIGHT. For more information, display the interface in the Class Builder.](https://ewmsupport.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/image-12.png)
