BAdI: Target Storage Bin Proposal for Putaway HU

Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) component.

This Business Add-In (BAdI) includes the method PROPOSE_DEST_BIN. You can use this method to define the storage bin within the work center in which the system is to create a putaway handling unit (putaway HU). The method is called during deconsolidation in the work center, on tab page Deconsolidate, if a new putaway HU is to be created for the warehouse orders being deconsolidated. In the radio frequency framework, this method is called in the logical transaction Deconsolidate Automatically, if no possible putaway HU can be determined for the warehouse orders being deconsolidated, meaning a new putaway HU must be created. This method is also called in the logical transaction Create Putaway HUs for Deconsolidation HU.

Standard settings

In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation.

The BAdI is designed for multiple use.

The BAdI is filter-dependent.
